Tomato results
All tomato plant specimens (Glacier Red Tomatoes) were planted from seed in organic soil (same brand) and re-potted in the same brand of organic soil when they were moved outdoors (from a 3-inch pot to a 14 inch pot/3.5 gallon). Amount of light, watering amount and frequency, exposure to the light source and positions of the plants were equally treated. The only variable that has been introduced is the type of fertilizer used on the plants. One plant was treated with water only, one with a Guano based fertilizer diluted at recommended levels per the manufacturer, and the last using Grass Valley Growing Company Fertilizer applied in a ratio of 1:6 dilution. All fertilizers were applied 1-2x/week and regular watering occurring 3x/week with close monitoring of soil moisture.
The pictures represent the appearance of the root-balls at the event of re-potting from the 14 inch pot to a 23 inch pot. As can be seen, our fertilizer has a strong effect on root proliferation which has led to an increase in plant growth when compared to guano based fertilizer, and water alone.
