Turf grass results (golf course applications)
Approximately 18,000 square feet of poor, native soil, rough turf (kikuyu) was treated with a 1:12 (approximate) dilution of our fertilizer. The course is located in Orange County, California. Frequency of application was 1x/week at the above dilution. An initial soil sample was taken to get a baseline of nutrient content prior to applications.
Noticeable lateral grows became apparent during the 3rd week of treatment; the grass appears noticeably more green and healthy than the untreated areas. A secondary soil sample was taken 3 months later for comparative purposes. pH was nominal.
Nematode Infestations - Experiment in progress
In certain years, a severe infestation of nematodes throughout Southern California has been seen to occur. GVGrowCo has developed an extension of our fertilizer that is undergoing verification of both beneficial effects on lateral and root growth, but also in reduction and elimination of nematode infestations in treated areas. Field testing continues.
